1) Visitor Center Services
Awaiting response from Melisa Tintacolis, Economic Development Director, on memorandum of
9/24/2014 re Visitor Center Operations. Town has spoken of June funding, but Tourism operations need
a plan by April. There should be a collaborative effort between the Buckman Tavern gift shop and the
Visitors Center for display and merchandising. Items uniquely Lexington, such as the Bicentennial
lissa have the time to do this project? Do we need a retail
consultant?
2) Design
Discussed the draft memo to the Board of Selectmen of use of design funds for the visitors center,
asking for approval of the Design Funds appropriated at the 2014 Annual Town Meeting, reviewed the
Program and Goals for the Visitors Center. Research and best practices have been utilized and the
memo will be finalized and sent to the Selectmen.

doing so. The Committee funding requests were submitted through the Town process on time. We
included level services, and two Program Improvement Requests, both part-time positions, one to add
clerk hours to take minutes, and the other to provide a weekly delivery service for the Lexington Visitors
Guide to Lexington businesses. We also put in a placeholder to begin the transition. With the Town
