Minutes of Meeting on April 3, 2014
In Attendance:
Victoria Buckley, Chair, Linda Vine, Assistant Town Manager and ADA Coordinator,
Janet Perry, Julie Miller, Len Morse-Fortier, Francine Stieglitz, and Sue Cusack
Approval of last monthÔs minutes plus FebruaryÔs
Updates on the new Lexington Community Center, especially the proposed fitness area Ï
Commission wants to see integrated, inclusive spaces as opposed to separate sensory space.
Continued discussion about Center Streetscape project Ï public meetings have been attended
by members of Commission and concerns about sidewalk materials and HP parking spaces are being
heard.
Update on Cary Hall Ï discussion of final renovation plans Ï renovation plans include increased
accessibility to all areas of the hall and inclusion in all rooms is being carefully and appropriately
designed.
Additional new business and update on new projects Ï new Building Commissioner is being
hired and will be starting in late May.
