Call to order II. Welcome to new council member Anwell Tsai and introductions III. Additional role for Doug Urban as Outreach Coordinator IV. February 15, 2021 meeting minutes approved unanimously. V. Co-Treasurers' Report: Hema Gandhi and Doug Urban A. Update on status of state, local, and town accounts. B. Update on status of FY'20 grant awards. Payment requests continue to be submitted and passed along to the town for payment. Jillian will deliver paper files relating to FY 2020 payment requests to Hema and Doug. VI. Brief review and update on FY'21 grant awards: by Jillian Tung. 39 applications received. Funding provided to 25 grantees.All have been notified.Approximately $9,900 awarded in total. VII. Review of meetings with Select Board Member Jill Hai, Munroe Center ED Cristina Burwell, and Town Celebrations Committee Chair June Baer: by Jillian Tung and Steve Poltorzycki. Jill suggested closer working relationships with Metropolitan Area Planning Council(MAPC), the Town Celebrations Committee, Munroe, the ArtWalk Committee, the Center Committee, and the Tourism Committee.A number of action items came out of this that are being worked on by Steve and Jillian. VIZI. Website discussion: Anwell will develop a conceptual design of the website and asks for input. Steve will send a link to the ArtsArlington website as a possible model. Design principles: user-friendly and easy to use. Functionality to include: calendar of town cultural events, grants (how to apply, status of grants, grant history), directory to town cultural organizations. IX. Go Out Doors II- Lexington project expansion E "' Lexington Council for the Arts A. Brief overview of project: by Jillian Tung. Expansion of earlier Go Out Doors exhibit. Four additional doors will be commissioned from the general artist population. To be installed near Farmer's Market along Bikeway. Call for Artists has been issued. Steve to pass along the call for artists to LeXArt. Deadline for submission is March 22nd. We are also reaching out to LHS and Minuteman for four student doors to be created. Jillian has been in touch with Lexington K-12 Visual Arts specialist (Alethea Roy), who will be supportive. Call for Artists has been sent to a number of avenues related to schools. Deadline for submission for high school students is March 27th. Plan is to auction all doors at the end of the exhibit. We will try to hold a closing celebration. B. Update on correspondence with town officials: by Steve Poltorzycki. Tourism Committee, Bikeway Committee, and Historic District Commission were all contacted and are supportive. X. Other potential projects A.
