Alsodiscussedfuturefundingplanformaintenancewithnoactiontakenrightnowregarding futurefundingonthisproject. 5.WIFIintownbuildings WiFiinCaryHallisindesignphase.SomecompanieshaveconductedsurveyaboutWiFiinthat building.CACexpectstohaveWifiinCaryHallandtownhall.Dorindahasaplan,andtheCAC willstaytuned. 6.HDchannelrequeststoComcastandVerizon JaneLymanfromComcastisawareoftheHDchannelfromRCN.Nofurtheractionisneeded untilshegivesusfeedback.Also,thecommitteedecidednottotakefurtheractiontoward VerizonuntilwehavemoreinfofromComcast. LexMediamaycollectsomefeedbackabouttheimpactoftheRCNHDchannel,whichwillserve asevidenceforrequesttoVerizonandComcast. 7.LexMediaContractRenewal ThecommitteeisinterestedinmakingtheLexMediareviewperiodalignwiththeƚǞƓ͸ƭfiscal yearforthenextcontractperiod.LindawillhaveaconversationwithLexMedia.,andthen recommendthechangetoBoardofSelectmen. 8.Comcastnegotiationsupdate ThesubcommitteeiswaitingforJane\[ǤƒğƓ͸ƭresponseandwilldeterminethenextmove. 9.CaryMemorialBuildingprojectstatus Itisaverycomplexproject.TheTownexpectstohaveadesigndocumentbytheendof November. 10.WiFipolicyrecommendationstoBoardofSelectmen Circulateasapolicyinquiry.Ata{ĻƌĻĭƷƒĻƓ͸ƭmeetingsometimefollowingtheNovember4 TownMeeting,CACwillpresenttheproposaltotheBoard.TheCACvotedtorecommend providingtheͻźCźinTown.ǒźƌķźƓŭƭͼtorecommendationtotheBoardofSelectmen. 11.PositionpaperonuseofnonPEGfunds DaveBeckerhasprovidedadocumenttoexplainhowtheaccountsareorganizedandwhy.CAC iskeepingeyeonnewprojectsforexpenditures.Thedocumentcanbeaguidelineforinternal CACdiscussions.ThereisnoimmediateactionforCACtotake. 12.CommunicationwithMass.DTCregardingrulesonpromptremovalofdownedcommunication lines DaveBeckerwillinvestigatewhethertherearedocumentssignedbetweentheTownand companiesregardingthismatter. 13.WirelesscarriercoverageinLexington AresidentcomplainedaboutcellularwirelesscoverageintheCountrysideneighborhood.Sheis anAT&Tcustomer.DavedrovebackandforthontheĭƚƒƦƌğźƓğƓƷ͸ƭstreetandobservedtwo barsonhiscellphone.CACisweighingnextstep,anditsauthority,andwillhavenoactionfor thismonth. 14.Complaints OneVerizoncustomerislateinpaymentandVerizonisrepeatedlycontactingheraboutthebill.
