RECYCLING AND WASTE PREVENTION

By law, recycling is mandatory in Lexington. For details see the current copy of the
notice sent to Lexington inhabitants by the Department of Public Works, which is also
available on the Public Works webpage. The requirements apply to the Town itself, and
it is the policy of the Board of Selectmen that all municipal buildings, including the Town
Office Building, be in compliance. Administration of this policy is the domain of the
Town Manager.
