Hillreviewedasummaryoftheabatementanddemolitioncoststodatewhichincludessixchangesdue toPCBallowanceoverrun,scheduleaccelerationandthediscoveryofsuspectmaterials.Atpresent, thepotentialtotalcostforabatementanddemolitionis$1,384,329.Theutilitycompanieshavebeen notifiedtocomeinanddecommissionthesite.Jeanthenreviewedtheprojectedtimelinegoing forwardwithaSeptember3SubstantialCompletionDate. TherewerequestionsandcommentsfromtheCommittee. TheCommitteereviewedanddiscussedthePCOLogwhichincludedtwentyoneitemscontainedin threeChangeOrdersalongwith5źbźƭĭƚ͸slettersofexplanation.5źbźƭĭƚ͸ƭlettersareattachedtothe changeordersinthehandout.TherewerefurtherquestionsandcommentsfromtheCommittee. AsofMarch2014,thedeltabetweentheprojectedandtheactualSDCCashFlowamountis$675,311. TheCommitteereviewedandapprovedtheMarchInvoicesfrom(A)DiNiscoDesign(i)$44,175 (ContractAdministration);(ii)$1,913.76(RE12ProfessionalConsultingServicesreHazardousMaterials); and(iii)$3,300(RE25ConstructionContainmentOversightandPerimeterAirMonitoringduring DemolitionandAbatement);(B)ShawmutDesignandConstruction($480,340);and(C)HillInternational ($27,015). MotiontoApproveShawmutApplicationforPayment#21intheamountof$480,340.00as recommendedbytheArchitect,DiNiscoDesignandThehǞƓĻƩ͸ƭProjectManager,Hill International(EricB.,PhilC.)TheMotionwasapproved 50 2.Bridge/Bowman Bridge&BowmanElementarySchool 1.CloseOutUpdate TheFlooringatBridgeElementarySchool(Bridge)goesouttobidnextweek.Thegymflooris analternate.NogymflooratBowmanElementarySchool(Bowman);PatGoddard,DirectorPublic FacilitiesandDr.PaulAsh,SuperintendentofLexingtonPublicSchoolswilldiscuss.Rampswereadded intherenovationprojecttofacilitateaccesstothestage,buttherehavebeenincidentsofkidsrunning intorailings,sopaddingisbeingaddedforprotection.Continueddiscussionwillberequiredonthe possibilityofremovingthenewlyinstalledrampsandinsteadinstallingliftsforaccessibility.
