1.Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Minutes from the April 7, 2014 meeting were unanimously approved as written.
Minutes from the May 1, 2014 meeting were unanimously approved as written.
2.Transportation Systems Updates
Grant submitted to MBTA for 4 years of funding for Lexpress. Award amounts
were not specified but are expected to range between $10,000 and $50,000 per
year. The MBTA is supposed to award the grants within 120 days.
Patriots’ Day Parade activities went off as planned.

The week of May 12 is Bike, Walk, and Bus Week. Free Bike n’ Ride for
Lexpress on Monday; free rides on Lexpress on Wednesday (Rider Appreciation
Day).

Discovery Day (Saturday, May 24) – Lexpress will be operating for free on all
Routes between 10 am and 4 pm (paid for by Lexington Retailers Association).
Jeanette will be at the Lexpress booth publicizing the route changes for FY’15.

New route presentation to the Board of Selectmen is scheduled for May 19.
3.MBTA Fare Increase Proposal

Beginning July 1, fare increases on the T will take effect. Local bus fares will
increase from $1.50 to $1.60. Subway fares will increase from $2.00 to $2.10.
Full list of fare changes are listed on the attached mass DOT memo.
4.Selectmen’s Annual Goal Setting
Discussion of goal suggestions based on memo from June 2013. TAC members
voted unanimously for Mr. Levison and Mr. Levy to revise the suggested goals as
discussed and submit to the Board of Selectmen before the end of May.
5.Follow-up on Article 24 from Town Meeting
Attempting to extend public transportation operating hours (later in evenings and
on weekends) added to BOS suggested goals.
Ms. Rebecchi to follow-up on Historical Society request for a trial weekend
service between historical houses in Lexington and Minuteman Park. May be able
to extend route to Arlington Heights.
6.Review Pending TAC Activities
Activity list reviewed and updated (see Attached list)
