Executive Session
April 29, 2009
PRESENT: Chairman Cohen, Mrs. Krieger, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Manz and Mr. Burnell; Mr.
Valente, Town Manager; and Ms. Chabot, Assistant to the Executive Clerk, were present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5-0 to go into executive session to discuss
the disposition of real estate, with no intent to return to open session.
Busa Land Purchase
Mr. Valente and Mr. Kelley updated the Board on the Town’s counter proposal to purchase the
Busa Farm property. The Board discussed where the funding would come from (CPA funds and
bonds). The Selectmen and the Recreation Department would bring forth the application to the
Community Preservation Committee for CPA funds. The Board is in favor of purchasing the
property based on the proposal.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 10:00 p.m.
