EXECUTIVE SESSION
January 26, 2009
PRESENT: Chairman Cohen, Mrs. Krieger, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Manz and Mr. Burnell; Mr.
Valente, Town Manager; and Ms. Pease, Executive Clerk, were present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5-0 to go into executive session to discuss
contract negotiations, disposition of real estate, and criminal misconduct, which no intent to
return to open session.
Disposition of Real Estate
Mr. Valente and Mr. Cohen met with some representatives for the Busa property, who are
interested in selling approximately 8 acres to the Town. Currently moving forward with getting
an appraisal of the property in order to proceed with getting funds from CPA. Mr. Cohen will
call LexHAB to see what their interest is in the two existing houses on the property. Land would
be used for recreation and LexHAB; the Conservation Commission has interest in an area near
the buffer zone abutting the Great Meadow.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 10:45 p.m.
