All three of these soils tend to have friable sandy loam surface material and subsoils that have moderate or moderately rapid permeability over a firm loamy coarse sand to sandy loam substratum (hardpan) or bedrock, which results in slow permeability. Major limitations of these soils includes: depth of bedrock, slope, slow permeability and stoniness.
