PLANT PITS shall be THREE ROOM BALL DIME TERS IN WIDTH and no deeper than the plant ball. Set root flair 2" above adjacent finished grade. 3. WATER— HOLDING SAUCER shall be built up around the plant pit. Flood with water for five (5) minutes immediately after planting. 4. WATER PLANTS once a day for the first week and once a week for the first planting season. Water at the rate of five (5) gallons per shrub and ten ',10) gallons per tree, 5. MULCH With three (3 ") inches of shredded bark mulch. Cut neat bed edge and fully remove all grass and weeds prior to mulch application_ DO NOT MULCH AGAINST TRUNKS AND STEMS OF PLANT MATERIALS. 6. ALL AREAS disturbed during construction are to be loomed and either seeded or mulched as directed by the owner. 7. Guarantee plants for one full year after acceptance;. 9. IRRIGATION: The Owner shall determine scope with an installer.
