1. Approve minutes from 12/20/13
2. School Improvement Plan
A.Data driven, dave strong intervention
1.Do shuffle kids for math, have now added 4-5 days/week have 2-3
students to have extension or extra help in small groups
B.Drive for literacy this year, to move every one forward
1.do progress monitor for the 6-8 weeks
2.Kindergarten has used assistants, support staff to help with the teaching
C.Mural in cafeteria
1.in planning stages, brainstorming in 4th/5th grade classes, then gone
into each classroom and each grade level has task
2.over Feb break will prep the wall, then have each class in 1/2 class size
groups will need 2 parents per session, so will need lots of parent help
D.Other large project is -- Frosted glass front of building through offices/library at
bottom will have "hello" in all different languages
1.funded by LEF, PTA, a parents also
E.Other project to buy a brick, engrave with "something" to beautify the outside of
the building
1.walkway to playground and to have a gathering area with some benches
2.can add to it in the future
3.similar to CNS project and Liz O'Neill has had input
4.can have brick in another language
3. Traffic
A.Deb Sabin drafted a letter, requesting traffic director as at Clarke
B.not just a Bridge School issue, impacts the road
C.to send to town committee (Meg to find out appropriate person)
D.people have been come to evaluate, as is ongoing ting
E.will add crosswalk on Middleby and Outlook
F.MaryEllen Dunn looking at restructuring the entire parking lot, structure
G.Police is not offering to have any one there
H.Sandwich boards to say "Please pull forward"

2.idea of doing something positive
3.can have other side of board for afternoon "loading zone"
