Mr. Abrams provided an update on the Better Buildings program:
Next Step Living (NSL) has restarted the Total Climate Control (TCC)

share.
The committee discussed potential drop off sites for the CSA shares. Options
included Ride Studio, Panera, Nourish, and Busa Farm.
NSL collected 12 sign-ups for home energy assessments (HEAs) at a recent
FarmerÈs Market and 20 sign-ups at Stop and Shop.
Statistics for the number HEAs in Lexington are now up on the SLC website.
We are planning to have a table at Discovery Day à shared with NSL.
Materials needed for the table include posters to describe:
Solar Task Force plans à Mr. Voss
Better Buildings program à Mr. Abrams
Climate Action Plan à Mr. Sandeen
Solar Task Force
Mr. Voss reported that the RFP is in process with Town management and it is
expected to be released at the end of June. The bid evaluation process is being
established.
The RFP includes schools, DPW, and Hartwell.
The expectation is that it will take 8 to 10 weeks to receive the bids, so they
are expected in August.
