2. Academic Goal 41 Update — Feedback and a. We reviewed and edited a first draft of
Questions Harrington's SIP Mid-Year Update document
(requested by School Committee for all
schools), focusing on Academic Goal #1 (If
teachers expand their use of student data to
discuss student progress and select effective
instructional strategies, then all students will
achieve at high levels). Areas focused on
included:
1.Understanding Educator Evaluation
System and rubric and refining Data
Team Process (RTI) relative to
curriculum, planning and assessment in
literacy, math and behavior,
2.Delineating examples of teacher and
literacy specialist collaboration, peer
observations, administration of writing
prompts and reading level assessments,
3. Detailing examples of how we are
teaching all students through new
teacher mentoring, targeted faculty
meetings and technology integration.

3. Academic Goal #2 and #3 Update — a, We started reviewing and editing a first

we increase student pro-social behavior and
resiliency, and reduce sources of unhealthy
stress, the student academic performance
and well being will improve). Efforts of the
school's Behavior Support Team (BST) and

Classroom strategies were noted.
