1.Approve minutes from 11/15/13
2.Enrollment
A.PTA Coffee last week
B.parents had opportunity to voice opinions and concern
C.heard from Dr Ash, Meg Collela, PTA presidents their views
D.Dr Ash did seem to concur that 643 as capacity for Bridge is not an accurate
number (capacity not enrollment issue)
D.i.#classrooms is 27
E.redistricting, modules, rebuilding is district issue and parents driven
F.community concern is being proactive vs School Committee says has to work
on budget and a Åhere and nowÆ
G.Avalon Community, try not to target, the numbers were low
H.concerns from Boston families about does that mean they will redistrict
H.A.was addressed twice that will stay within same school as current
H.B.do project for certain # of spaces for METCO students each year (in
Lexington do have more METCO students)
3.TrafÐc
A.has it gone beyond parent or even staff to control
A.can there be crossing guard/trafÐc director
B.town will be sending someone the week after vacation
C.make it more a live pick-up of not coming until 3:15
D.study includes not coming in until 3:15
E.may continue line around to the back for pick-up, busses in front (has 8
busses at pick-up)
F.give a warning, then for a week
