OnbehalfoftheBoardofSelectmen,JoePatopresentedcertificatesofappreciationtoMs.Kluchman andMs.Baturin. 2.RequestreappointmentsforHarrietCohen,MaryHaskell,andCaroleMarine MichelleCiccolomovedamotiontorequestreappointmentforHarrietCohen,MaryHaskellandCarole MarinetotheLexingtonHousingPartnership.BobPressmansecondedthemotion.Themotionpassed unanimously. 3.ApprovaloftheMinutes Theminuteswerediscussed.Ms.WeissaddedMs.ağƓǩ͸ƭnametotheminutes.Therewerenoother correctionsorcomments.Ms.CohenmovedapprovaloftheminutesandMs.Walkerseconded.There were9votesinfavorand1abstention. 4.ParcelSubcommitteeupdateΑBetseyandMelinda TheParcelSubcommitteereceivedwordthatapropertyat430ConcordAvehasbeenputunder agreement.SteveLaferriereofMetroWestCollaborativeDevelopmentwillcalltodeterminethestatus oftheproperty,and,ifitisstillavailable,inquireastowhethertheownerwouldbewillingtoconsidera saleforaffordablehousing.Thereisapotentialof70unitsonthelot.Mr.Laferrierewillalsocheckasto whethertheownerofaWoburnStlotwouldconsiderasaleforaffordablehousing.Theowneris consideringsellingthepropertyanditwouldaccommodatebetween9and12units.Ifeitherorboth ownerswouldconsidersuchasale,MWCDwouldspearheadthedevelopmentofmixedusehousing (affordableandmarketrate).Ms.WalkerwillinquireaLincolnStreetpropertyownerastowhetherhe wouldconsidersuchdevelopmentonhisproperty.Severalotherpropertieswerediscussedas alternativestopursueatalatertime. 5.LexHABΑBusaFarmUpdateΑBobPressman LexHABsponsoredameetingwiththeabuttersofBusaFarmtoshowthemadrawingoftheplanned housingfortheBusaFarmland.SomelocalresidentswrotetotheBoardofSelectmentosaythatthe currentprocessisinsufficientlycomprehensivefordealingwithissuesrelatedtothehousing developmentatBusaFarm.Asaresult,LexHABwillscheduleadditionalmeetingswiththeabuttersand willmodifysomeoftheirplanstoreflectcommentstheyhavereceived. Lexington Housing Partnership If,whentheBusaFarmplanispresentedtothem,theBoardofSelectmenapprovetheLexHABplans, LexHABwillrequestfundingfromtheCPC. Ms.WeisswillsendtheLHPletterofsupportforBusaFarmhousingtoLynnPease,askinghertoholdit untiltheLexHABproposalispresentedtotheBoardofSelectmen,andtoprovideittotheBoardof Selectmenatthattime. 6.DiscussionoftheNewHousingProductionPlanDraft TheLHPdiscussedtherecentHousingProductionPlandraftandprovidedcommentsaimedatmaking thedocumentmorepersuasiveandconcreteregardingaffordablehousing. PleaseprovidecommentstoMichelleandtoAaronHenrywithinthenexttwoweeks,byNovember8. 7.NewMemberSuggestions TheLHPhasthreevacanciesthatneedtobefilled. 8.BackupSecretary Ms.MarinewillprovidebackupforMs.CohenifMs.Cohenisnotavailable. 9.NextMeeting TheLHPwillmeetoneitherDec.9orDec.12. 10.NewBusinessΑMs.Foutter ArepresentativeoftheDouglasHome(at9OaklandStreet)approachedMs.Foutteraboutrenovating thesmallstructurethatisnotattachedtothemainbuilding.Thestructureisonthepropertyandhas thepotentialtobecomeanewunit,possiblyanaffordable1floor,1bedroomunit.Ideally,itwouldbe Deleted: andturningitinto usedforsomeonewithabraininjurywhoisabletoleavetheDouglasHomeandliveinamore independentliving.TheLHPsuggestedthatDouglasHomeapplytotheCPCforfundsfortheproperty . renovationtothisstructure 11.Adjournment Ms.CiccolomovedtoadjournthemeetingandMs.Marinesecondedthemotion.Themotionpassed unanimouslyandthemeetingadjournedat9:18pm.
