October 2, 2013 meeting at 4 pm at the bathrooms
Members present — David Williams, Chair, Brian Kelley, Lynne Wilson, Bob Pressman and Cindy Kuechle
Also present— Wendy Rudner, Recreation, Wesley Wirth, Landscape Architect, Miles Connors, Parterre
Bathroom update — Brian Kelley told the group that NSTAR had been at the site the day before, the
electrician had been there that day but the wiring was not completed but close. The committee toured
the site and expressed approval.
Bathroom landscaping — Wes Wirth talked about the drainage, recommending deep stone strips that
would drain to a grassy swale. He also recommended paving the entire perimeter with porous
pavement. The cost to do the drainage and recommended landscaping is approximately $15,000.
Bob Pressman told the group that he had walked the path and that the azaleas needed water badly.
He was concerned about their condition. Part of the group walked the mound area and agreed. Both
Bob and David said they would try to get water on them in the next couple of days. Miles said that
Parterre would be on site the next Tuesday and would water also. Wes asked that, since it was so dry,
Parterre should, perhaps, spend some of the time allocated to weeding to watering.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30pm.
