Minutes of the Meeting Held on Thursday, December 12, 2013
Members Present:
Ilise Martel, Joseph Lahiff, Janelle Franklin, Vanessa Savage,
Thomas Barry, Emma Berman, Mattew Gill, Sara Fopiano, Gillian Goolkasian, Jillian
Jandl, James McLaughlin, Shaun McLaughlin, Thomas Wood, Eva Goldfinger, Elizabeth
Coons, Emilia Fusco, Nic Fusco, Lee Katz, John Lahiff, Ben Liebeskind, Andrea
Michelson, John Mullen, Mark Solomon, Ashley Walsh, Doug Lucente, Sean Maloney,
Shannon DeGuglielmo, Karen Duperey, Debbie Hankins, and Joey Hankins.

Members with Unexcused Absences:
Becca Denning, Annie Douvas, Jake Douvas,
Andrew Wang, Ethan Gordon, and Andrew Thomas.
The Meeting acted on the following items:
Candy and/or Sweatshirt and Tee shirt Money:
People who still need to hand in their
candy money are John Lahiff, Thomas Wood, Nic Fusco, Shannon DeGuglielmo, and
Debbie Hankins.
Turkey Drive Recap:
It is unacceptable that two drivers bailed out minutes before the
Turkey Drive. This year both Shannon and Doug had to drive around student members to
deliver turkey’s, which has never happened before. If you sign up for something, it is
your responsibility to be there no excuses! Cancellations should be made at least two
days prior to an event.
Holiday Fundraiser Drive:
Thank you everybody who signed up for the Holiday
Fundraiser! Because of LYC’s hard work, we can afford to provide 70 kids with $35
Toys “R Us Gift cards. Currently in Lexington, there are 30 families that are homeless;
these gift cards will be greatly appreciated! We will definitely have a table set up in front
of Brookline again next year!

Valentines Day:
The Senior Lunch in this year will be February 11 from 11:45AM-
1:00PM. The People who have already signed up are Sara, Eva, Gillian, Vanessa, Emma,
Andrea, Ashley, Matthew, Shaun M, James M, Nic, Thomas Wood, Thomas Barry, Mark
(M), Joe (M), John L, Emilia, Jillian (M), and Elizabeth. If you have decided that you
will not be able to make it, please notify your team captains ASAP! Rides will be
provided to and from the school!
Communication:
In effort to make communication in LYC better, we have assigned
adult supervisors for each group. Shannon is responsible for team A, Deb is responsible
for team B, Karen is responsible for team C, and Joey is responsible for team D. Also,
please call your group leader instead of texting, it is much more curious and a call makes
sure that each person on the line knows what’s going on.
