CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES
Monday, August 5, 2013
6:30 P.M.
Parker Room, Town Office Building

Chair Joyce Miller opened the meeting at 6:32 pm in the Parker Room of the Town
Office Building.
Commissioners Present: Joyce Miller, Stew Kennedy, Jane Warren, Duke Bitsko, Dick
Wolk, and David Langseth (arrived at 6:37 pm)
Commissioners Absent: Phil Hamilton
Others Present: Michelle Tassi, Community Development Department Assistant
PENDING MATTERS
6:33 pm Discuss Johnson Farm open space and interests of the Commission
Rick Abrams, Vice Chair of the Greenways Corridor Committee, was
present for this topic. The Commission discussed the Johnson Farm area.
They wanted to know if Cider Mill Lane was a private road, the acreage,
and if the Planning Board contacted Town Counsel. They decided that
they would like to have a site visit to Johnson Farm.
The Commission decided to postpone the
approval of the landscape plan for
65 Munroe Road, DEP# 201-823, BL 781.
Motion made and seconded to issue an Order of Conditions:

Mr. Kennedy reported that the Whipple Hill project is progressing. Three
boardwalks have been completed and the final one has been started. The

Commission decided to cancel the meeting on August 13 and reschedule it for
st
August 21 due to quorum issues.
6:55 pm Mr. Langseth commented on the project at 92 Adams Street. Mr. Langseth
stated that there is an error in the elevation listed for the bottom of the
infiltrator unit and the infiltrator unit appears to have been undersized.
7:00 pm The Commission postponed approving the minutes from July 30, 2013.
7:05 pm Motion made and seconded to adjourn the meeting, 6-0 in favor.
