1. Welcome New Members
II. Announcements:
• Andrea Strimling Yodsampa shared information about the Site Council
member training she attended.
• Discussion about Site Council this year including an overview of the
mission and vision of Site Council and procedures including members
rotating the responsibility of recording minutes.
III. Update on the Building Project
• The two additional classrooms are close to completion.
• Library anticipated to be completed in a few weeks. Library desk and
the bookshelves will soon be installed.
• Paneling in the library will be plastered over and painted.
• Anticipated that Extended Day will be back at Bowman in January.
• There will be additional work on site next summer.
IV. Discussion of future topics and projects
• Discussion of the role of Parents on site council
• Discussion of how to increase communication with parents to
encourage involvement as well as to share information
• Understanding of the new Supervision and Evaluation process
• Mission and vision as a future topic
