Minutes January 15, 2013

1. January Meeting:
The meeting was called to order by Jeanne Krieger. The
DecemberMinutes were approved by the group.
2. Monthly Noise Report
: Sharon Williams presented the December noise report and
in response to questions noted that:
A combination of low visibility and snow, throughout the month of
December, significantly reduced the number of operations
Single engine piston aircraft were most affected
3. Capital Projects and Third Party Development reports
: Dorothy Steele presented
the reports and in response to questions noted that:
The Hanscom noise system software is available on the Massport website.
Rectrix submitted a permit
is under review.
Hangar 17 Replacement Project.
Massport was approached by a scheduled charter operation interested in
operating out of Hanscom Field:
TrueAir has proposed two round trips (Monday Friday) between Bedford
o
and Trenton, NJ. Aircraft servicing this market will be an eight
passenger, single-engine, Pilatus.
HFAC requested that representatives from TrueAir attend the next
o
HFAC meeting to discuss their proposed operation. Massport will
extend that invitation to TrueAir.
There have been no discussions with cargo or commercial air operators.
