The May Minutes were approved by the group. 2. Monthly Noise Report: Sharon Williams presented the May noise report and in response to a question noted that: The totals for noise disturbance reports fluctuate monthly based on many factors such as type of aircraft operations and if new complainants contact Massport. 3. Monthly Capital Programs and Third Party Development Reports: Dorothy Steele presented the capital projects report and in response to comments and questions noted that: Massport has committed to conduct two studies not required in the MEPA established scope for the 2012 Hanscom Field ESPR quality directives, Massport is prepared to conduct an ultrafine particulate matter study at Hanscom once Federal standards are established. Massport will also conduct a lead study at Hanscom and new regulations have been proposed. Community representatives reiterated their interest in the impacts of lead emissions on wildlife in areas like the Great Meadows National Refuge. Massport leases are designed that in the event the leasee vacates or leaves the airfield, Massport would take possession of the properties under the lease. Most leases at Hanscom are for twenty years with options to extend years. Rectrix does have an office at Hanscom currently (in the Civil Air terminal) and in Hyannis and Sarasota, Florida. The timeframe for the Jet Aviation project construction is within two years. The new Hanscom Noise System webpage upgrade will enable complainants to submit disturbance reports online and research various aircraft activities and noise events. The Hanscom noise complaint line will continue to be active once the system is running. There have been no discussions with cargo or commercial air operators. th There will be U.S. Military presence at and around Hanscom from June 25 to th July 5 in support of the U.S. Navy Fleet Week and the City Of Boston War of 1812 Celebrations taking place in South Boston and the Boston Harbor on July th 4. th The next meeting is scheduled for July 17.
