Hank Manz stated that there was no quorum for the meeting. 2.State of Hanscom: Barbara Patzner, Hanscom Airport Director, made her annual State of Hanscom presentation. In response to questions, B. Patzner explained that: - Landing fees and fuel flowage fees were significant contributors to the fiscal year 2007 revenue increases at Hanscom. - Massport provides funding for summer interns to work for communities impacted by Logan and Hanscom. Additionally, Massport employs interns, some of whom perform outside maintenance work at Hanscom. - Massport is able to use some Logan revenues for non-Logan facilities (e.g. bridge, seaport, etc). However, landing fees from Logan operations go directly to airfield operations at Logan. 3. Monthly Noise Report: Sara Arnold presented the monthly noise report. In response to questions, S. Arnold explained that: - The new noise website is not ready to be made public. There is a lot of technical work being performed on the website currently. - Boston Maine Airways terminated service at Hanscom on February 29, 2008. - Massport is still working with the Air Force Base and the Town of Bedford in regards to the storm water infrastructure project at Hanscom. - Boston Medflight is responsible for the majority of night time exemptions. 4. Other: Lincoln Selectman and HATS Chair Sara Mattes informed the group that local concerned citizens are having discussions regarding growth on the Route 128 corridor near Hanscom. She reported that 100,000 new car trips will be triggered by the development that is planned in Waltham along Route 128. She is concerned that there is no state plan for transportation.
