Approval of February 5 Meeting Minutes
The committee did not have any comments or concerns. The motion to approve the
February 5 TSAC meeting minutes was passed unanimously.
TSAC Website Update with FAQs
No updates at this time, Captain Ferro and Lt. Mazerall not available.
TSAC Intake Form:
Candy McLaughlin was present to discuss the different options that may be available to the
TSAC committee regarding the design of an on -line intake form. All agreed that E -forms
would be best. Mary Ann had lots of good comments about the town owed Laserfische
system. A few options mentioned; minutes can be attached to in -take forms, searches can
be done on a particular road listing all its history, and it can assign tracking numbers.
Jeanette will continue to be the liaison between Candy /MIS group and TSAC to keep this
moving forward and will notify in future when this item needs to be brought back to the TSAC
agenda for review. The committee would like to see this project complete by the end of the
calendar year if not by the fiscal year.

Police Traffic Safety Updates
Hartwell Ave Northbound (a)- Maguire Road When traveling north on Hartwell Ave
and are in the left hand turn lane for Maquire Rd the vehicles heading south do not
appear to have proper warning of the turning lane they are coming upon. It was
agreed that re- painting of all the markings are needed over the short term. The
town is doing a study of the area and once that is complete then more long term
signage and changes to pavement markings will be determined.
• 4 Militia Drive: When parents drop off & pick up their children they do not follow
the signs /rules of the rotary, causing a lot of traffic & problems. A keep right sign
on the island should be sufficient notifying motorists but Dave will need to reach
out to Captain Ferro to take a look at it, making a decision based on their findings.
Pearl St (a)- Bartlett Ave: There is no stop sign Pearl St (west) @ Bartlett Ave.
When driving down Pearl Street the landscape makes it difficult to determine there
is an intersection ahead. Traffic is heavy during drop off and pick up times from
Lex Christian Academy which exits onto Pearl. No specific accidents at this
location. Dave would do a warrant analysis to decide first before a stop sign could
be installed.
New Business
For the next Transportation Forum, from TSAC two items were deemed appropriate;
the Three Intersections project on Mass Ave and the proposed traffic regulations
within School property.
• The TSAC work -flow should include ensuring the TSAC recommendations included in
the minutes make their way to the Board of Selectman agenda to be voted upon.
