HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-06-27-CFC-min `OV5 "kv. 09- Ins ro 6' E ` 1 '41 l, 2�a �R' z° a \ IN APRIL I9'" �FX�rvG?�P Community Farming Committee Meeting Minutes June 27, 2013 A meeting of the Community Farming Committee was held on June 27, 2013 at 8 00 a.m. In attendance were Michelle Ciccolo, Alan Wrigley (at 8 07 a.m.), Tom Oliver and Michael Bliss Ralph Zelinsky was not in attendance Also attending Assistant Town Manager for Finance Rob Addelson, Community Development Director Karen Mullins, Purchasing Director Lindsay Dahlberg and Town Manager Carl Valente Mr Valente opened the meeting, welcoming the members of the Community Farming Committee and explaining that each member of the Community Farming Committee, together with Mr Addelson and Ms Mullins, will be the evaluation team for the Community Farm proposals The evaluation team will make its recommendation to Mr Valente as to the farming entity that submitted the most advantageous proposal to the Town. Ms Dahlberg explained the process the evaluation team should follow for evaluating the proposals Ms Dahlberg distributed to the evaluation team the two community farm proposals Members of the evaluation team expressed an interest in touring the Busa farm. The Committee/evaluation team established the following meeting schedule • Wednesday, July 10, 8 a.m. Each member to provide their evaluation of the two proposals, • Monday, July 15, 8 a.m. Tour of the Busa Farm, • Thursday, July 18, 8 a.m. Interview of first farm entity • Tuesday, July 23, 8 a.m. Interview of second farm entity • Wednesday, July 24, 4 p m. Recommendation to Town Manager of award of farming lease The meeting was adjourned at 9 10 a.m. 7/10/2013
