1. Approval of Minutes — The minutes of the meeting of February 20, 2012 were approved
as submitted with a vote of (8 -0).
2. Updates and Verification of Final Votes on Project Applications
a.) Visitor Center — Design Phase — The CPC discussed this project in light of the
Board of Selectmen's vote on February 25 to accept the Town budget as
submitted by the Town Manager. The budget did not include tax levy funding for
the Visitor Center project, necessary to complete the non -CPA eligible portion of
the project. In light of the unavailability of sufficient funding to complete the
Visitor Center project, the CPC voted (8 -0) to indefinitely postpone its requested
share of the project. This vote came after a previous vote on February 20 in which
the CPC voted (7 -2) not to oppose a Selectmen vote to indefinitely postpone the
project.
3. Executive Session. At 2:15 pm, upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by
roll call (8 -0) to go into Executive Session under Exemption 6 to consider the purchase,
exchange, lease or value of real property and to reconvene in Open Session; the Chair
declaring that an Open Meeting might have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position
of the Town. The Committee returned to Open Session at 3:30 pm for the purposes of
adjourning the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Nathalie Rice
