NEGOTIATING SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 6:34 PM.
Attendees
Negotiating Subcommittee members David Becker and David Buczkowski; Jane Lyman from
Comcast
Ms. Lyman discussed comparisons between the current Lexington Comcast License and the
template that Comcast likes to currently use.
A discussion was held regarding the Comcast template which uses cites to statutes for language
rather than including the entire language in the license.
A discussion was held regarding changes in definitions, side letters and double poles.
The completion of ascertainment was discussed along with the Town's wish list.
Ms Lyman indicated that Comcast will not give bandwidth as a matter of corporate policy.
There is no cost of money applied to the $17,600.00 technical funding (in lieu of I -Net support).
It is Annual Funding.
The Negotiating Subcommittee agreed to submit its final list of demands to Ms. Lyman at the
next meeting which was scheduled for May 7, 2013 at 6:30 PM.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
