PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
MEETING OF MARCH 20, 2013
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Planning Office, Town Office
Building, was called to order at 6:07 p.m. by Chairman Richard Canale with members Michelle
Ciccolo, Nancy Corcoran-Ronchetti and Charles Hornig and planning staff Maryann McCall-
Taylor and Aaron Henry present. Mr. Zurlo was absent.
******************************TOWN MEETING*********************************
Article 34 Amend Zoning Bylaw There was a need to make a correction to a section reference so
a handout indicating the change will be available on the table at Town Meeting. Mr. Canale will
explain it in his presentation.
Board members discussed articles that might come up that evening at Town Meeting.
Article 20 Contracts and Deeds (Solar Energy Purchasing) Board members felt that this issue was
outside of the Planning Board’s area and therefore will not take a position on it.
Article 32 Electronic Voting No one saw a need to have a board position on this.
For any other articles that may come up and for which the Board may want to take a position, the
Board agreed to caucus on the floor of Town Meeting.
Planning Board Report under Article 2 Mr. Canale said that he had moved the “what’s not in the
Zoning Bylaw changes” into the report under Article 2 rather than in the presentation on the
Zoning Bylaw change in Article 34.

On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted, 4-0, to accept the minutes of March 18, 2013,
with the correction of the date.

Mr. Canale said that he will continue through Town Meeting on the Community Preservation
Committee. The Tree Committee and the Sustainability Committee still need Planning Board
liaisons.

On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
