Lexington Youth Commission
Minutes of Meeting Held on Thursday, April 11th, 2013
A meeting of the Lexington Youth Commission was held on April 11th at 7:OOPM till
8:OOPM at the Cary Memorial Building, in the Estabrook Room, 1605 Massachusetts
Avenue.
Members Present: Doug Lucente, Sean Maloney, Shannon DeGuglielmo, Karen
Duperey, Debbie Hankins, Jenna Busa, Beverly Kelly, Abby Grant, Sara Lehman,
Janelle Franklin, Joslyn Battite, Carolyn Avery, Michael Barry, Becca Denning, Annie
Douvas, Sara Fopiano, Gillian Goolkasian, Jillian Jandl, James McLaughlin, Shaun
McLaughlin, Natalia Pronchick, Eva Goldfinger, Elizabeth Coons, Scott Cunningham,
Caitlyn Dooley, Emilia Fusco, Nic Fusco, Lee Katz, Jack McCullough, James Laurenzi,
John Lahiff, Ben Liebeskind, Mark Solomon, and Ashley Walsh.
Members Excused: Peter Kelley, Joslyn Battite, Jackie Denning, Jake Douvas, Lindsay
Stevenson, Andrew Wang, Mariel Winton, Thomas Wood, Christopher Grant, and
John Mullen.
Cotting School Visit Recap: Thank you to everybody who participated in the trip to
Cotting School. The "Party in a Box" kits we made with the students will be donated
to a Homeless Shelter in Arlington!
Patriots Day 300th: Thanks to everyones amazing participation the Lexington
Youth Commissions float made it in first place in the Youth Category!
Next Year: If you know anybody who you think would enjoy being on the Lexington
Youth Commission have them fill out student application form which can be found
on the town website!
Next Meeting: Our next and final meeting will be on the Island by Lexington High
school (next to the Football Field.) It will be held May 9th at 5:30. Pizza will be
provided. At this meeting we will clean up the Island and say goodbye to all the
seniors!
