397 Lowell Street- MetroWest Wireless Facility
The proposed structure sits along the southern edge of the building adjacent to a residential
property. The applicant explained the technical difficulty in t
due to all other communication facilities on the roof, which by default determined the location of
this facility. The DAC feels this building is already burdened by too many wireless facilities and
roof structures. A very large Verizon wireless facility (screen
the condition that it be located as far away from the residential properties as possible) and is yet
to be constructed.
The DAC strongly recommends the applicant find another location for the MetroPCS facility that.
A location that doesnÓt further compromise the roofscape and sur
neighborhood. An alternate location on the rear cabinet shop building (same property owner)
appears feasible and would hardly be seen from the intersection
well as the abutting residential neighbors. The Design Advisory Committee recommends this
project not be approved and that the applicant find an alternate location for the proposed facility.
