The meeting was held within the Annual Town Meeting and was called to order at 7:25
pm.
1.Acceptance of Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) amendment to
Article 8(g) – LexHAB Set-Aside for Housing Acquisition –
Ms.Manz
asked for the Committee’s vote on a minor amendment to Article 8(g), which
had been proposed by Mr. Kanter of the CEC. The amendment read as
follows:
Article 8(g): Amend by adding:
After “…for Housing Acquisition,” add “consistent with the
“Guidelines for the Use of CPA Funding by LexHAB,” approved
February 17, 2011,”
The amendment was approved by the CPC (8-0).
2.Acceptance of Board of Selectmen Amendment to Article 8(d) – Cary
Memorial Building Upgrades –
Ms. Manz asked for a Committee vote on an
amendment from the Board of Selectmen to lower the appropriation of the
Cary Memorial Upgrades Project from $550,000 to $75,000. The CPC
not
discussed this amendment briefly, and voted (6-2) to approve the
amendment.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 PM.
