Business Meeting Minutes
February 7, 2013
Business meeting called to order at 6:53 Pm
Call to order
a. Approval of meeting minutes from January business meeting
II. Membership Report
a. One additional member submitted an application
b. SEPTA 501c3 account is in process to use next year
c. LEXSepta email is now set -up
III. Treasurer's Report
a. No change in financial status since last meeting
b. IRS filing is complete and certified
c. Forward documents to archive for historical purposes
IV. SPED Director Recruitment
a. First interview completed by group of 12 including two SEPAC members
b. The candidate will be returning for a 2nd round of interview and a parent meeting
will be posted and included in the schedule
V. Survey Update
a. Presentation is in review by committee
b. April 4 SEPAC Meeting will be the survey results meeting
i. Feb 28 working group meeting with follow -up on March 7th
ii. Parents will be notified that results can be reviewed by contacting SEPAC
iii. School committee to be notified about presentation date for SEPAC and
availability of material for review
VI. Events
a. End of Year Social Event
b. Request Colleen to consider a Dinner Pot Luck Option to request that SEPAC
notice be put in in Principal Back to School packets to provide
