Minutes:
1. Budget Update
The proposed FY14 “Per Pupil Allocation” for Diamond was reviewed, along with this year’s
Capitol Budget requests. In addition, personnel change requests were reviewed: .4 Social
Work, .25 drama, .25 Mandarin, .25 Engineering, and .1 Music. Extra guidance time was
requested for the summer, to help with scheduling.
2. Gay-Straight Alliance
The establishment of a Gay-Straight Alliance was discussed, and the group’s support solicited.
The group then thought about issues to consider in starting the group, ranging from
confidentiality to language in a mission statement.
3. Setting Meeting Dates
Future dates were chosen: 2/7/13, 3/7/13, 4/4/12, 5/2/13
4. Last Year’s Survey
The redacted survey was handed out, and a brief review began. The group discussed initial
take-aways. It was decided that the group would divide up the survey for a more in-depth look,
and partners would bring the findings on their section to the next meeting.
5. Next Agenda
We agreed to focus on reviewing the survey results.
