1) Review of the norms
Suggestion to add the norm “remain on one conversation at a time”
Approval by entire council of the norms from last year, with addition of new norm
2) MA Association of School Committees – LPS School Council FQA’s
Question brought up about training conducted by the town
3) Election of Co-chair
Ann Redmon nominated and accepted / all approved
4) Review of the WDMS School Improvement Plan
Goal 1 & 2 District goals / all schools implementing
Goal 3 is Diamond specific and the goal that the Site Council chose & developed
Addition of the District Goal: Strengthen Diamond’s professional culture
5) Diamond’s action step towards having meaningful and challenging conversations.
