SUBJECT: Application for Signage for Center Parking Booth
Attached is a drawing and rendering of the two signs for the Depot Square parking booth we are
respectfully requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness. The sign height, font (times new roman)
and materials are contained on the attached page.
I restfully request the granting of the Certificate of Appropriateness for the following reasons.
The signs are necessary on the booth to identify the parking entrance and facility for our
many visitors.
The signs are in scale with the booth building, and the area. They are architecturally
respectful and yet visible to approaching vehicles.
The sign graphic presented is an internationally recognized symbol and therefore visitors
can quickly comprehend the message.
The additional "Welcome..." information sign relates to the nearby street graphics
already present in the Center.
Moreover, the sign placements, font, and colors are detectable and recognizable to drivers
without a loss of eye contact with the road.
Thank you for your attention and consideration.
