In the future we hope people will remember to give better notice if they are unable to participate in a meeting. However, we still managed to raise plenty of money to get to our grand total of $2,400 for the Holiday Fund. This money will be used to purchase gift cards to Toys R Us for low income families with children. S. Open Meeting Laws: We discussed the Open Meeting Laws as a group understanding that all meetings are open to the public, and that Meeting Minutes will continually be required to be sent to the town of Lexington. 6. Float Discussion: The core group had a productive discussion after the meeting and have developed a specific plan for the float involving the Farming/ Freedom/ Family idea. Because of Mrs. Kelly's absence next month, we will not have a meeting in January. However we would like to schedule a meeting outside of LYC to go over materials and other details. 7. Communication and the Plan for Moving Forward: After Shannon DeGulielmo's generous offer to send out the Meeting Minutes to group members we hope that more people will be notified of upcoming meetings and events. Also, we request that Team Captains remember to txt their members of meetings. Overall we had a very successful meeting and we are grateful of everyone's input. The next meeting will be held at 7:OOPM on Thursdayjanuary 10thin Estabrook Hall (the downstairs)in Cary Memorial Building.
