Carroll, Jeanne Krieger, George Burnell Members Absent: Jessie Steigerwald Also present: Pat Goddard, facilities staff Recording Secretary: Pat Goddard The meeting was called to order at 8:20 a.m. by the Chair Agenda Item 1: Review RFQ #13 -37 Designer Services for Municipal Facilities Master Planning. Discussion ensued on the Scope of Work included in the RFQ and whether the Scope should be more specific. After the points of view of various committee members were shared, the committee agreed that the Scope of Work as written would be sufficient and that the RFQ did not require any changes. Agenda Item 2: Appoint a sub - committee to select the Designer per M.G.L c. 7 The committee sought volunteers for the sub - committee, discussed who should be on the committee, and then by unanimous vote appointed Peter Kelley, John Carroll, and Bill Kennedy to the sub - committee. The sub - committee agreed that they would individually pick up the submittals from the Public Facilities Department on or after 3:00 PM on August 30 and then meet on September 5 at 8:30 AM in the Training Room of the Public Services Building (PSB) to rank the top three firms. The top three firms would then be interviewed in a Public Meeting on September 10 again at the PSB Training Room, between 1 and 4 PM. At the conclusion of the interviews, the sub - committee would rank the three finalists in order for contract negotiations. Agenda Item 3: Determine future meeting dates The committee scheduled the first full meeting of the AhFMPC for Tuesday, September 25 at 8:30 AM. The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 AM.
