Lexington Youth Commission
Minutes of Meeting of Thursday, November 8th, 2012
A meeting of the Lexington Youth Commission was held on October 10th at 7:OOPM
till 8:OOPM at the Cary Memorial Building, in the Estabrook Room, 1605
Massachusetts Avenue.
Adult Members Present: Doug Lucente, Sean Maloney, Shannon DeGulielmo, Karen
Duperey, Debbie Hankins, and Beverly Kelly.
Student Members Present: Abby Grant, Sara Lehman, Janelle Franklin, Joslyn Battite,
Carolyn Avery, Michael Barry, Becca Denning, Jackie Denning, Annie Douvas, Jake
Douvas, Lindsay Stevenson, Sara Fopiano, Gillian Goolkasian, Jillian Jandl, Shaun
McLaughlin, Natalia Pronchick, Andrew Wang, Thomas Wood, Eva Goldfinger,
Elizabeth Coons, Scott Cunningham, Caitlyn Dooley, Emilia Fusco, Chris Grant, James
Laurenzi, John Lahiff, Ben Liebeskind, Andrea Michelson, John Mullen, Mark
Solomon, and Ashley Walsh.
Excused Absences: James McLaughlin, Mariel Winton, Nic Fusco, Lee Katz, Jack
McCullough.
The meeting acted on the following items:
1. Candy Drive: Last meeting we handed out more candy to raise money for the
Holiday Gift Fundraiser. President V.P and secretary will raise $39, team
captains will raise $38, and members will raise $36
2. Thanksgiving Turkey Deliverer The Thanksgiving Turkey Delivery will be
held on November 21St. We will be meeting at 3:30 at the C &W
Transportation, 240 Bedford St, Lexington. People who signed up to drive
are: Jackie Denning, Sara Lehman, Scott Cunningham, Michael Barry, Caitlyn
Dooley, and Carolyn Avery. People who signed up to help deliver the dinners
are: Thomas Wood, Chris Grant, James Laurenzi, Emilia Fusco, Joslyn Battite,
Jillian Jandl, Sara Fopiano, Eva Goldfinger, Natalia Pronchick, Jake, Douvas,
Annie Douvas, Elizabeth Coons, Becca Denning, and Janelle Franklin.
Members who said they could maybe come are Mark Soloman, Ben
Liebeskind, Gillian Goolkasian, and Andrew Wang. There will be around 30
dinners to deliver. Remember to please be respectful and keep the addresses
of the dinners you are delivering confidential.
3. Float Core Group: Next meeting those who are part of the core group will be
asked to stay an extra 20 minutes to discuss further float design.
4. Holiday Fundraiser: The Tree Lighting in the Center will be on November
30th. We will meet at 5:30 in the center behind Michelson's. At the tree
lighting we will dress up in fun costumes and ask for donations to support
the Holiday Fundraiser. People who signed up for the Tree lighting are:

Mullen, Abby Grant, Mark Soloman, Andrea Michelson, Ashley Walsh, Joslyn

Pronchick, John Lahiff, Caitlyn Dooley, Ben Liebeskind, Gillian Goolkasian,
Elizabeth Coons, Lindsay Stevenson, Sara Lehman (Maybe), Jake Douvas,
Annie Douvas, Becca Denning (Maybe), Jackie Denning (Maybe), and Carolyn
Avery. We will also be raising money at Wilson's on December 1St 2nd 8th
and 9th from 11:OOAM to 3:OOPM (People who signed up are listed below.)
