Subject: RE: Lex Historic inventory
Good afternoon Candy, The July 2007 letter I received from the Historical Commission notifying me that my house, 67 Lowell Street, has been inventoried, states that any inaccurate information
reported on the Building Form should be recorded using the Historical Commission link shown below. I went to that link and no such area exists to record corrections. Therefore, I am
notifying the e-mail contact person shown on the web page (you) that the name of the current owner, shown on the Building Form under the "Historical Narrative" paragraph, is incorrect.
Thank you.

Martin,
David Kelland, chair of the Historical Commission, responded that the authority is by MA statute and Lexington bylaws. The Town Clerk may be able to help identify the relevant sections.
Some of the links at http://ci.lexington.ma.us/Committees/HistoricalCommission/HistoricalCommission.htm may also be helpful.

Good afternoon. I would like to know by what authority the Lexington Historical Commission can place a property on the Comprehensive Cultural Resources Survey aka the "inventory".
Please be specific. Thank you.
