Town of Lexington Appropriation Committee
February 9, 2006
Place and Time: Estabrook Hall, Cary Memorial Building, 6:30 p.m.
Members Present: Alan Levine (Chair), Deborah Brown (Vice-Chair), John Bartenstein,
Rod Cole, Richard Eurich, Paul Hamburger, Pam Hoffman, David Kanter, Eric
Michelson
The first part of the meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in conjunction
with Budget Collaboration/Summit Meeting 4. The attached minutes of the Budget
Collaboration/Summit meeting, prepared and attested by the Clerk of the Board of
Selectmen, are hereby adopted as the minutes of the Appropriation Committee for this
portion of the meeting.
Following the Budget Collaboration/Summit Meeting, the Appropriation Committee
reconvened at 8:25 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Room G-15.
1. Rod C. agreed to take minutes.
2. Minor edits were made to the committee’s CPA document. Colonial Times is going to
publish the executive summary, as will the Lexington Minuteman. A copy of the full text
will be sent to David L. Kaufman for posting on the TMMA web page. Printed copies
will be placed at the Town Office Building, library, and senior center.
The final document was approved by a vote of 9-0.
3. Our next meeting was moved to February 15.
4. We were exhorted to write up past due minutes!
5. There was a short introduction to the topic of who will take on which article write-ups
for the AC report. It was decided that Paul and Rod would work on the FY’08
projections. Eric Michelson will send out an electronic copy of last year’s report.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 pm.
