Minutes for Meeting December 8, 2008
Cary Hall, Ellen Stone Room
Present: Barbara Ciampa, Co-Chair; Louise Cady-Fernandes; Janet Post, Secretary; Jan Goplerud;
Zoe Perry Wood, Co Chair; Jonathan Cue; Mary Trometer,Treasurer; Bill Janowitz; Jackie
Hawkinson; Sirarpi Heghinian Walzser; Victoria Campos ( our new council member).
Call to Order
Barbara Ciampa called the meeting to order at 7:11PM
Secretary's Report
The minutes for the November ‘08 meeting were accepted.
Treasurer's Report
The treasurer’s report was accepted. There is a balance of $ 8821.43
Grant Business:
We received 36 grant applications. The grant subcommittee decided at the last meeting to give
one grant award to each branch of the arts, which Janet reviewed with us. The council accepted
the grant recommendations of the grant subcommittee. Janet and Jan will work together to get
the letters out to all the applicants.
New Business:
??We will move our monthly meeting to the second Monday of every month at 7:00PM at
Cary Memorial Library in the learning center.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00PM. The next meeting will be January 12, 2009 at 7:00 PM
in Cary memorial Library in the learning center.
