SS: Cary Hall would benefit from a lift to get from Legion Room to
upstairs.
VB: B/E was originally set up for 3 years (1) LFD, (2) Cary Hall, (3)
the upcoming year. Not sure what's been done and what hasn't. (2)
Plan was supposed to fix up accoustics (not done), and provided for
handicapped seating areas (not designated yet). Seat that's taken out
does not provide ADA required space. Accoustics are bad in Cary Hall.
SS/WH: is it accoustics or sound system? [sound system]
VB: Front door opening out is still a problem.
SC: Not sure what's going on at LFD.
VB: If don't have to add more money to (3) above, then they'd like a
consultant to look at all facilities in town ($35k) and $35K for Bird
ROom at Cary Hall. SC: would dump study to do lift to Bird Room.
SC: Also wants to look at supporting Sidewalk Committee.
RB: Would audit give a 5-year plan?
SC: There was supposed to have been an audit and a plan, but was never
done.
SS: Audit was done in '93.
Can consultant money be capital?
Priority for FY07: either finish Cary Hall, or do a 1/2 story lift to
Bird Room in Cary Hall. Focus is Cary Hall; audio, steps, bird room.
Future: Study/Audit, curb cuts on new sidewalks, Munroe Arts Center,
EL Lib, Sidewalks
