CEC minutes - 11 January 2001 (approved)
The meeting was called to order at about 7:30 PM by the chairman.
Members Tom Griffths (TG), Shirley Stolz (SS), George Burnell (GB), and
Charles Hornig (CH) were present. We were joined by the Board of
Selectmen,
School Committee, Appropriations Committee, staff, and members of the
public
for "Summit III".
For details of the joint part of the meeting see the minutes of the
Board of
Selectmen.
After the joint meeting we had a mini meeting of our own.
The minutes of the meeting of 19 December 2000 were approved.
We discussed our meeting schedule. Here is the plan:
20 January: cancelled
23 January: Summit IV place TBD
25 January: at DPW (if DPW can be there)
30 January: Summit V (capital) at Selectmen's Meeting Room
8 February: Joint w/appropriations
GB reported about the PBC meeting. There continues to be discussion of
whether to build 2, 1, or 0 new schools. It's not clear if PBC is
moving on
getting middle two schools designed for the fall TM.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 PM. Minutes were taken and submitted
