MEETING MINUTES
NOISE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
16 MAY 2006
A duly posted meeting of the Noise Advisory Committee (NAC) held in the Selectmen’s
Meeting Room, Town Office Building, was called to order at 7:30 pm by Chairman Tony
Galaitsis with members Martha Wood, Myla Kabat-Zinn, Julian Bussgang and Jack Maloney
present.
1. Minutes of the 7 March 2006 meeting
The minutes were reviewed and approved by a vote of 4-0, with Mr. Bussgang abstaining
because he was absent from the 3/7/06 meeting.
2. Review of Special Permit Forms
The Committee spent the remaining of its time re-working the wording of the previously
drafted special permit forms. As part of this process, the committee decided to exclude the
form requiring petitioners to publish a legal notice in the Lexington Minuteman.
Since the documents included extensive changes, it was decided to:
a) Have copies of the revised forms e-mailed to all members for a final and thorough
review,
b) Postpone a vote until the next meeting
3. Date for Next Meeting
The next meeting was scheduled for 7:30-9:00 pm, 19 September 2006, at a location to be
announced.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 pm.
