Minutes for Meeting February 9, 2009

Present: Barbara Ciampa, Co-Chair; Louise Cady-Fernandes; Jan Goplerud; Zoe Perry

Absent: Janet Post, Secretary; Jackie Hawkinson; Victoria Campos
Call to Order
Barbara Ciampa called the meeting to order at 7:16PM
Secretary's Report
The minutes for the January ‘09 meeting were accepted.
Treasurer's Report
The treasurer’s report was accepted. There is a balance of $ 7013.45
Grant Business:
The grant letters have been mailed to all grant applicants.
New Business:
Jan reviewed the grant application guidelines that she has been working on for our
??
council. The guidelines will be posted on the MCC website as well as eventually on our
page of the town’s website. We will vote on the revised guidelines at our next meeting.
Zoe updated us on our website. We will discuss it further at our next meeting
??
Zoe presented two new beautiful signs that she had made for the LCA.
??
Munroe Center for the Arts will host a town wide-open studios weekend in early
??
May. We are going to ask Christian to come to our next meeting and update us on his
plan.
Business for Next Meeting ( Chaired by Zoe Perry Wood)
Jan will review her revised grant guidelines with us for a vote.

Website discussion.

Victoria will share with us her experiences with the Belmont arts council
??
Christian from The Munroe Center for the Arts will update us on the open studios
??
weekend.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 8:16 PM. The next meeting will be March, 9, 2009 at
7:00 PM in Cary memorial Library in the Learning Center.
