The meeting was called to order at 4:10 PM.
Deb Belanger presented the purpose, function and our relationship to the GBCVB and
issued an invitation to the Barbecue featuring a new software web site they are
developing. Lou Sideris, Chuck French, Masha Traber, John Ott and Paul
O' Shaughnessy agreed to be our representatives.
Update on Liberty Ride — Dawn and Masha reported that we expect to break even by the
end of the year. After a slow start caused by the weather, business is now above the
budget estimate for the last week. Masha will continue weekly email report to the
Committee by email. Dawn found a vendor for t- shirts and baseball hats that are very
reasonable. Dawn and Mary Jo will work on a plan to order products for resales at the
Visitors Center.
Update on Sign Project — Derry reported that we received permission from HDC for 13
signs. Dawn and Derry will walk through Lexington Center at 10 AM on June 20 with
the Center Committee. Paul will meet with Susan and get a decision on the financial
support that the Lexington historical Society can make to the signs at Buckman Tavern,
Hancock Clarke House and Munroe Tavern.
Next Meeting -- Because of the late hour, it was agreed that Dawn will set a time and place
and let the Committee know by email.
