HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-02-05-HDC-min Town of Lexington Historic Districts Commission Minutes of Meeting of February 5, 2004 Commissioners in attendance: Joann Gschwendtner - Chairman, Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli and Dan Fenn; Associate Commissioners Daniel Griffin, Jr., James Lee and Joe Welch. PETITIONS HEARD 1762 Massachusetts Avenue - Jeffrey Lyons received approval for new entryway in rear, fencing, brick paver pathway and windows to be done in two phases. Certificate No. 2004-05. 1436 Massachusetts Avenue – Christine McEwen and James Wong received approval for re-roofing the house and garage, including adding ridge vents and soffit vents. Certificate No. 2004-06 6 Parker Street – Tom Fenn, representing Peter and Elizabeth Laino presented preliminary plans for addition to the house. Hearing continued for architectural detail drawings. 1666 Massachusetts Avenue – Sharon Spaulding of Spaulding Management with George Moran, Architect received approval for door and window changes. Certificate No. 2004-07 CONTINUED: 1690 Massachusetts Avenue – Hazel Hopkins received approval for sign changes from those previously approved to the front and back of the building. Certificate No. 2004-08 Depot Square – Emery Park – Joan Farr, representing the Lexington Field and Garden Club received approval for rock with bronze signage on the park. Certificate No. 2004-09 1960 Massachusetts Avenue – Meg Kimball received approval for changes to a side porch. Certificate No. 2004- 10 782 Massachusetts Avenue – Faith Ferguson received approval for rebuilding a side deck and railing. Certificate No. 2004-11 MISCELLANEOUS: Commission reviewed a temporary banner for the Lexington Historical Society.
