JF and KL met with Karen blake and the Harrington School landscape committee at a meeting 2/13/03 with
Nelson Hammer, landscape architect for the new school, to ensure sufficient safeguards in the contract to
ensure survival of an existing 52” Elm and a similarly sized Oak and a memorial spruce. We suggested
partial curband sidewalk deletions and other strategies for grading, porous surfaces and protection systems
to optimize the continuing health of the trees. Mr. Hammer was very receptive and promised to make such
recommendations to the proper authorities.

three Ginkos near auto entrance. DP said trees under 8" dia. In Lincoln St. ROW will probably be removed.
