Commissioners in attendance: Joann Gschwendtner, Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli and Associate
Commissioners Daniel Griffin and Eleanor MacQueen
PETITIONS HEARD:
37 Hancock Street –
Henry and Janice Camp received approval to paint shutters and garage
doors green and front door black. Certificate No. 2001C-100
30 Hancock Street –
Ranne Warner informed Clerk that she was unable to attend meeting until
February. Hearing continued to February.
1364 Massachusetts Avenue –
David Kinsella, representing Jerry and Joan Parker, received
approval for an addition to the rear and window and door changes to the front of the house.
Certificate No. 2001C-101
718 Massachusetts Avenue –
Robert McNamara, representing Sacred Heart Parish Center,

received approval for a 2 floor addition. Mark DiNapoli and Eleanor MacQueen recused
themselves from the meeting. Dan Griffin voted affirmative using “Rule of Necessity” legal
authorization. Certificate No. 2001C-106
840 Massachusetts Avenue –
Judi and John Brosnan called Clerk and asked to be continued to
January because of changes to addition. Hearing continued to January.
6 Meriam Street –
Chris Giguere, representing Lexington Playcare Center, received approval
for a stone dust trike path in the existing playground. Certificate No. 2001C-102

8 Hancock Street
– Louis Counts received approval to restore original garage sliding doors and
to paint dark green to match existing door and shutters. Certificate No. 2001C-103.
25 Waltham Street –
Deborah Heffernan, representing DeWolfe, received approval for
gooseneck lighting for the front and rear sign. Certificate No. 2001C-104
45 Waltham Street –
Richard Batten, representing Encore Bank, received approval for a sign.
Sign was approved conditional to repairs to building being fixed to the Commissioner’s
satisfaction. Sign cannot be hung until that approval. Certificate No. 2001C-105

INFORMALS:
1475 Massachusetts Avenue –
Clay Mitchell from Shomaker, Inc., representing Muzzey
Condominiums, presented plans for replacing all columns on rear walkway and rebuilding center
walkway cover between two porticos. Will return for formal in January.
The Commissioners voted to approve the revised Guidelines.
The minutes of November 1, 2001 were approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
