Certificate No. 2001C-55 57 Forest Street – Emmy Suhl presented plans for fencing and arbor with gate on south side yard. Hearing was continued for additional detail. Applicant withdrew application by phone call after meeting. 1628 Massachusetts Avenue – Carey Dion received approval for a projecting sign. Certificate No. 2001C-56 3 Ellen Dana Court – Bruce Newman received approval for a 9x12” shed. Certificate No. 2001C-57 7 Harrington Road – Nancy Earsy, representing First Parish Memorial Garden, received approval for additions to the garden, including fencing and rock wall. Certificate No. 2001C-58 Massachusetts Avenue in East Lexington – John Frey, representing the East Lexington Community Association, received approval to place a bench near the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Approval contingent on receiving letter from Sacred Heart approving location. Certificate No. 2001C-59 16 Belfry Terrace – Omar and Anne Khudari received approval to repaint front door and shutters. Certificate No. 2001C-60 10 Tavern Lane – David and Leslie Forg received approval to repaint house. Certificate No. 2001C-61 837 Massachusetts Avenue - Karen Furtuna received approval to repaint house. Certificate No. 2001C-62 CONTINUED: 25 Waltham Street – Deborah Heffernan, representing DeWolfe, presented new signage for front and rear. Commission did not want slogan included on sign. Hearing continued. 1656 Massachusetts Avenue – Karen Biow, Muse’s Window, received approval for a sign. Certificate No. 2001C-63 1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420 Minutes of July 5, 2001 (concluded) 6 Meriam Street – Tim Greene, representing Sprint, received approval to replace all 8 sections of Church of our Redeemer steeple with lexan and change 3 panels from wood to fiberglass panels to install antenna. Certificate No. 2001C-64 1960 Massachusetts Avenue – George and Meg Kimball received approval to repaint house. Continued for storm windows. Certificate No. 2001C-65 73 Waltham Street – James Butler, Universal Signs, representing Verizon, received approval for individual letter signage. Certificate No. 2001C-66 2 Bloomfield Street – Maria Romano received approval to repair brick front entrance and replace front walkway with brick. Certificate No. 2001C-67 1347 Massachusetts Avenue – Eileen Reynolds received approval for re-roofing house. Certificate No. 2001C-68 INFORMALS: 1139 Massachusetts Avenue – Jim Feeney presented plans for landscaping and fencing. Will return for formal hearing. 443A Massachusetts Avenue – Robin Combs and Greta Aanensen presented some ideas to repair house. Will return for formal hearing. The minutes of July 5, 2001 were approved. The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
